The manufacturing principle is same as that of ordinary PDC. But the shape of diamond layer is different for different application. Spherical insert (JFQ series), conical insert (JFZ series), wedge insert (JFX series), eccentric wedge insert (JFBX series), gage protection insert (JFP series) are available.
1. Spherical insert (JFQ series)
Mainly for small and medium-sized button bit, DTH bit, can also for roller cone bit for petroleum drilling. With good wear ability and better impact toughness, it can be for percussion drilling.
